WDNA is a dynamic and ever-growing netball association with a variety of administrative and officials’ roles across our various competitions. Waverley District Netball Association (WDNA) began around 1961 in Ashwood, where we have twelve acrylic surfaced courts. Our netball community comprises of more than 286 teams, made up from local schools. Players range from juniors through to adults representing a variety of abilities. We run a NetSetGo program, Saturday competition, Representative teams (female & male) and an extensive umpire program. WDNA is also a tenant of the recently redeveloped Oakleigh Recreation Centre.
Our competitions are played on:
Saturday at our courts located at the corner of Cassin Ave and Farmer St, Ashwood.
Night competitions at the redeveloped Oakleigh Recreation Centre, 2A Park Rd, Oakleigh.
We are seeking a self-motivated and organised person to undertake a range of administration tasks to ensure a successful running of the competition at Ashwood and broader tasks required for the Association to run successfully. This position requires someone that has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the maturity to plan and work independently. Strong administrative skills (including computer literacy) will be key to the success you have in this role. You will also be required to work collaboratively with the Sports Administrator at Oakleigh Recreation Centre.
Have a can-do attitude and be ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in when required. Including working outside normal hours on occasions.
Have strong customer service, planning and administration skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong time management skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
Have strong computer skills with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
Understanding of MyNetball would be an advantage.
Must have or be prepared to obtain a Working with Children Check.
REPRESENTATIVE TEAM COACH
WDNA Rep teams are seeking an experienced and qualified coach for one of our 17/u teams. Training will be Sunday from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and games will be Wednesday evenings.

UMPIRES – BOTH ORC & WDNA
WDNA are always seeking experienced umpires to join our umpire team. With the introduction of new competitions at the Oakleigh Recreation Centre we are looking for experienced umpires on Saturdays at WDNA and Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at ORC.
