Netball Victoria Membership
All players, coaches and umpires must have a current Netball Victoria membership linked to Waverley District Netball Associations. A once per year $10 association fee is payable when completing your Netball Victoria registration to assist with the cost of court maintenance etc. To purchase a membership please click here.
WDNA is a Child Safe Organisation
Umpires, coaches, team managers, club and association committee members, and any other volunteer or official in a position of authority over 18 years old must:
- Have a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent (e.g., VIT)
- Have completed the free, online, Play by the Rules Child Protection course in Netball Australia’s – Netball Learning hub. The link to this course is here. This takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
Waverley District Netball Association Competitions
We offer several different netball competitions for clubs and teams to enter.
Our outdoor Saturday Competition is held at the WDNA courts, corner Cassinia Avenue and Farmer St, Ashwood. Predominantly school-based Clubs and independent teams, we run sections for 9 & under, 11 & under, Juniors, and Open.

Our indoor night competitions are held at Oakleigh Recreation Centre, 2A Park Road, Oakleigh. A variety of competitions will be run for Junior and Open players with female-only and mixed sections.
